La Asociación Madrileña de Espina Bífida (AMEB) continúa con su metodología de trabajo basada en la Planificación Centrada en la Persona (PCP) y en su Familia (PCF), que ya comienza a cosechar buenos resultados en las personas que forman parte de la misma. Dicha metodología nace fruto del proyecto personalizado “Futuro de vida: PCP + PCF”, que lleva varios años en marcha en la Asociación, desde que comenzara un proceso de transformación, donde la persona y su familia, son protagonistas absolutos del proceso, tratando de dotarles de fortalezas y recursos para que puedan lograr sus objetivos y metas personales.
Además del proyecto transversal basado en aumentar la calidad de vida de las personas, para el que se otorga un importe de 14.700€, Fundación ONCE ha continuado apoyando un año más el Servicio de Atención Especializada y Autonomía Personal para Infancia y Juventud de AMEB, aumentando la cuantía de la ayuda destinada respecto al año anterior, con una suma que asciende a 7.500€, destinados al mantenimiento y mejora del mismo, así como dotación de recursos de apoyo.
Como novedad, desde AMEB, en su afán por continuar ofreciendo un servicio de calidad y aumentar su compromiso social, se puso en marcha a principios del pasado año un proyecto que busca promover la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres de la asociación, y que cuenta con actuaciones inclusivas que impliquen el trabajo con la comunidad, y la realización de un protocolo de actuación ante acoso, coordinadas por una técnica de igualdad que se incorporó a la plantilla de la Asociación. Dicho proyecto, ha sido posible gracias a la colaboración de Fundación “La Caixa” y Fundación ONCE, que en este caso ha destinado 2.300€ para la consecución del mismo.
Fundación ONCE muestra así su gran compromiso social con las personas con discapacidad, garantizando la continuidad y mantenimiento de proyectos y servicios especializados que tienen como objetivo principal el reconocimiento de los derechos de las mismas, el ejercicio pleno de su ciudadanía, y el fomento de su autonomía y libertad de elección.
